Bernd Trasberger ‘Neuzeit’

Catalogue (112 pp) with a bespoke cover typeface. Bernd Trasberger deals with the transformation of urban space in his sculptural works, installations and collages. The utopias of post-war modernism form an important reference point in the artist’s work. By appropriating and recycling architectural fragments and relocating them, Trasberger examines the value we place on this disappearing habitat and the legacy of modernism and the place it occupies today. “Neuzeit” (Modern Times) provides the first-ever overview of the work created by Trasberger between 2000 and 2012. Mario Asef ‘Crossfade’

Catalogue (80 pp). In his video work entitled “Crossfade”, Mario Asef addresses the two-way mass migration between South America and Europe. This has been a feature of human and animal life since the beginning of the 16th century. In very personal, poetic images, the history of his homeland becomes the starting point for historic and political concerns, which include issues such as  conquest, immigration and emigration, power and oppression, all of which can be read at a global level. Drawing a Universe

The exhibition ‘Drawing a Universe’ presents drawings, objects and installations based on the process of sketching, drafting, mapping, copying, repeating and translating.
